Where I Find Life in the Little Things

Sometimes it's not the big achievements or life-changing events that make me feel truly alive. It's the quiet, simple things that happen in between. They're not loud or dramatic, but they carry a different kind of power.

Meditation in the morning gives me a calm start to the day. It's not just about sitting still—it’s where I meet myself before the world gets noisy. Then comes yoga or some form of exercise. Moving my body reminds me that I’m here, present, and taking care of myself.

I love the feeling of eating food with my whole family. Everyone together, sharing stories, laughing, sometimes just sitting in silence—something is grounding in that. And when I manage to make someone smile or laugh, it instantly lifts something inside me. It feels like I’ve done something meaningful, even if just for a moment.

Spending time in nature helps me breathe a little deeper. Whether it’s trees, birds, or just an open sky, it brings a quiet sense of belonging. I also feel alive when I’m involved in a deep discussion about a social issue that truly matters to me. And if I get to work towards change in even the smallest way, it adds a real sense of purpose to my day.

Bhajans, kirtans, or watching stories of Bhagwaan's leela bring me peace. They remind me of something sacred, something still. Singing and dancing to devotional music fills me with joy in a way that’s hard to explain. Listening to folk songs from different cultures makes me feel connected to the world—so much diversity, yet a shared feeling in every voice.

These moments are not flashy. But in them, I feel alive. And that’s enough.
